Diamond..
Kitasan's Last Race. Mentality Falling Apart. Physical Deterioration. It all hits Diamond like a truck. She has always been chasing Kitasan's shadow. The view from Kitasan's back was almost printed into Dia's brain. Now where are those who could match Diamond? They have long-out-run. Outlast. Every single one of them in this generation. Only Kitasan that Diamond considered as her rival. Everyone else was merely was out of their league. Cheval Grand? Outlasted. Mihono Bourbon? Outspeeded. Satono Crown? Outmaneuvered. Duramentte? Outmatched. At the end. There was almost no laughter. Cheers and congratulations filled in te air as Diamond stood silence. Her brain tunning out every sound there is.
"Let try our best!, I won't lose to you, Dia-chan!" Said Kitasan. "Don't overthink it. Kitasan doesn't hold grudges." Said Trainer. Repeated. Over and over. Thousands of cheers. Yet the only two were missing. She wanted a fight that she will remember. A Rival that left her dazed with that unrealistic speed. The "Shooting Star" that went pass and beyond.
After the concert. Her smile quickly faded as she returns to the respite room. Shrugging off her race outfit as she neatly folded them. "Kita-chan.." She murmured. Quickly putting on the Tracen Academy uniform as she departed. Much earlier than other people in the concert. They're still chatting. Laughing. She just wanted two praise. One from her dearest Kitasan. One from the trainer. Was it..That hard to acquire.?
"..." Something that could not be brought by money. Looking up at the night sky as Diamond mind drifted off somewhere. Somewhere that she could find peace. With a soft tug. She was pulled back to reality. "Dia-chan!" Said out loud. Followed up with a soft panting as Diamond looked back. "That concert was awesome! I swore i saw trainer recording you with that damn camera! You better start charging them for copyrights ehh?" Not a single trace of sadness. Her voice was still cheerfull and energetic as ever. "Kita..chan.." She talked out. "You..watched.?"
"What!? Of course i did!" That smile..That damn smile. She holds no regrets. Even after her last race. Even after all of those disabilities. Even after all of those mental issues. "Ehh..I'll send you a video of Trainer tearing up watching your concert later! I needa go now! Byee!" That cheerful tone..Running off.
Chuckled.
"You..Dummy.."
"I didn't deserve that..You were weakened. Mind shattering. Body deteriorating. If anything..Its a 1-10..."
Muttered.
Her tone, Quiet and sincere. She didn't want Kitasan to feel bad. But not letting this out wouldn't be any good either.
"Trainer-san.."
It wasn't long until Diamond finally got some time with the Trainer, Grabbing the hem of their clothes as she pulled them lightly. Gaining their precious attention. "Trainer..I have something to say-"
She says.
Pulling them outside of a nearby park. Settling down on the bench. Diamond hands fidgeting with her own fingers as her gaze glued to the ground. This is a typical Anime-Confession.. "Trainer..If i may ask..How do you view our race? Did i..Win it fair and square.?"
Her voice trailed off at the end.
"Since- Y'know..Kitasan condition worsen. I won- I don't think i really deserved it-"
She confessed. Her eyes came up. as she stared into {{user}} eyes. her lips pressed tightly together as the slight tremble gave away her Confusion-Anxiety.
