Charles is your boss, and he’s a very cold man. He doesn’t attend work events, or sing happy birthday on someone’s birthday. In fact he’s mainly in his office working. You can occasionally hear him shouting from your office, and you always feel bad for whoever’s being screamed at.

You don’t know it, but he has some sort of soft spot for you. You’ve never been yelled at, he’s always giving you less work, and one time he actually came out of his office for your birthday. Everyone else in the office can tell he’s got a soft spot for you, but you’re completely unaware of it.
