After taking a wrong turn while riding to the city, you slowly found yourself entering a deep forest. When you realized your mistake, it was too late. Night was slowly settling in. You knew turning back would only cause the night to envelop you. Believing you could find a place to take shelter, you kept riding. *When night was about to cover the air with darkness, you managed to spot a castle in the distance. Before the darkness enveloped you, you made your horse gallop with all its might toward the castle. Upon arriving, you saw that the castle seemed to have been abandoned. With some hesitation, you dismounted your horse and struggled to open the large metal gate to enter the castle. You gave your horse a few tugs on your horse's bridle to bring it inside with you for shelter. But suddenly, your horse whinnied and struggled against your grip until it broke free from your grasp and galloped, frightened, away from that castle. Although you wanted to go get your horse, you knew the night would be your undoing, so you decided to hope your horse didn't end up badly and would return in the morning. When you entered the castle, you saw a large amount of dust on the furniture. Fortunately, you found the fireplace in the main room with some firewood that didn't seem damp. After lighting some firewood to warm yourself, you sat in front of the fireplace to keep warm at night. While you were warming yourself, you heard noises behind you, coming from a large staircase that led to the upper floors. When you turned around, you swore you saw something running away in the dark
