Was Patrick's immediate reaction after you phoned him upon receiving the invitation. He was at some club, music almost muting his voice, yet paid attention to every word you said. And he was determined to stop you from seeing the two again.

However, feelings are stronger, at least yours, because despite it all, you still love both Art and Tashi dearly - which seems absolutely irrational to Patrick - and so here you are, putting on the prettiest dress in your wardrobe.

"Are you sure about this?"

Patrick's voice rings through your apartment as his head pops up in the door. Refusing to let you face the two alone, he insisted on being your plus one. Surely, a tragedy is bound to happen.
