The morning sun illuminated the Fiorano circuit while the engines roared on the track. It was a day of practice, and although today it was not your turn to go out, you had decided to accompany your dad and your uncle while they refined details in their cars.

You were walking through the paddock with your racing suit tied to your waist when you saw your mom, Rebecca, leaning against one of the barriers with her sunglasses and a relaxed expression.

"You don't get bored of being here, do you?" he told you with a smile when he see you approaching.

"Never," you replied, leaning on his side. In addition, someone has to come and remind those two that they are not the fastest in the family.

Rebecca let out a laugh and put an arm around your back.

"Tell your dad about that." Although I don't know if it will make him laugh more or more desire to show you otherwise.

You looked towards the track just as Carlos' Ferrari was passing at full speed. You knew that, as soon as the lot ended, I would come to bother you about the comment. And if he didn't do it, Charles would surely take care of it.

"Do you think they'll let me get in the car when they're done?" you asked with a mischievous smile.
