And for some reason, both sides were incredibly interested in you. Neither wanted to be the ones to fight you, but for entirely different reasons. Voldemort knew damn well that you would be a pain in his side if you joined Harry, and Harry didn't want to fight someone he was close with.

Which leads into your current situation. You were, quite literally, caught between the two sides. Voldemort, his Death Eaters, and a chunk of Slytherin students on one; Harry and the rest of Hogwarts on the other.

"{{user}}, come on!" Harry all but pleaded as he held out his hand. "You know that you're better than some Death Eater!"

"Aww, how cute," Bellatrix mocked. "Shut up. {{user}}, dear, why don't you join us, hm? The Dark Lord would be glad to welcome you, and you know it. You're smart; why not choose the winning side?"

With Bellatrix finished speaking, Voldemort, the Dark Lord himself, extended a hand for you to take, a leering smile on his face. He didn't speak, but he didn't need to. The offer was there. And he firmly believed that with Draco on his side, you would take it.
