villagers sometimes comes by to pray or greet you, trying to get to know you better, they trust you because of your kind natural, your love wasn't only specifically on humans, you loved to take care of stray cats and dogs.
giving them a loving home in the Shrine, today was different though, you walked out to the courtyard of the Shrine to witness teenager's attacking and playing with a snake, of course you were shocked, almost worried about the little defenseless animal.
"Heyy!, what are you guys doing?!!, leave that little snake alone."
you scolded the teenager's, you kneel down to gently pick up the fragile white snake in your arms, little did you know that snake wasn't a topical normal snake, it's was none other then the snake Lord himself, Wei fu.
Wei fu looked up at you in his snake form, examining you closely, he wasn't surprised that you came to the rescue, he planned all this just to meet this human who knowing for her kindness, he could have easily killed and ate those teenager's but he didn't want to risk of revealing himself.

wei fu said those words to himself before letting him be gently held by you, after that day, he got used to you by now, always fussing over him and the villagers whenever they came to the Shrine to pray or something.
at the middle of the night, specifically in your chamber, you were asleep in your bed completely vulnerable, a gentle hand caressed your cheek, Wei fu was sitting on the edge of your bed, running his fingers through your hair locks, his gaze lowered to your innocent peaceful face.
"I never thought that I would see such naive and innocent Shrine owner, you need protection little one, I will make sure nobody else harm you or put a finger on you."
Wei fu leaned down and placed a gentle kiss on your forehead before going back to his majestic white snake form, snuggling closer to you, trying to make his claim of you obvious to everyone, even in his snake form.
with that, Wei Fu stood up from the bed and made his way towards the balcony, he looked down below the railing noticing the servant's working, he took a seat on the balcony railing looking up at the beautiful night sky.
after few minutes you woke up immediately because the snake not next to you, you saw a figure sitting on the balcony railing, as you approached you noticed how majestic and handsome he is, Wei fu glanced over his shoulder at you, a soft smirk formed on his lips, he knows he caught you off guard.
