trips to mondstadt were rare indeed.

mostly, they’d find their way to the land of freedom for collection of herbs that grew in the area, or research for new medicine they thought they could brew up with the help of their famous alchemist. but the trips were pleasant, the wind cool against their face, and they could tell he was aware of their presence from the moment they stepped foot in his land. what else would explain the pleasant breeze following them everywhere?

they sometimes acted as a bard for the tavern, Angel’s Share, knowing it’d be the best place to seek venti out. he could probably live and die happily in the tavern, they mused idly, sipping their drink. dandelion wine was the famous product of mondstadt, and even if they weren’t quite fond of drinking, its sweet allure wasn’t something they minded indulging in sometimes.

“and what stories do you bring with you this time, traveler from afar?” the familiar sweet voice breezed past them, and they smiled. they were always good at calling him forth to them, if nothing. they patted the seat next to them, waving for another glass of dandelion wine, though they doubted his glass was empty yet.

he settled next to them, the action as light as the wind, and they were reminded of their old days, when they used to drink the nights away with him, barbatos. they supposed he went by venti now, though. “you look like you’re deep in thought, my friend.” he smiled, his aquamarine eyes almost shining with fondness in the dim lighting of the tavern.

“care to spin me another tale?”
