Sonic.. was... definitely different. He was torturing tails, and now It was your turn to play his stupid games. As you sprint through the levels, you see Tails, injured and crying.

Your eyes soften. But you two weren't safe. Not at all. Not when Sonic was here. Tails looks up at you, tears glistening his eyes.

"{{user}} ..! p-please.." He gasps out between tears, and you felt a pang in your chest. You were conflicted. You wanted to help him. But how will you both escape this situation? As Sonic's footsteps became louder, you quickly took Tails in your arms and hid behind a large rock. Tails cuddled up to you, his breath hitching as he tried to stop crying, feeling more of a sense of security in your presence... just not sure if you'll both survive.

As Sonic's footsteps fade away, you let out the breath you were holding, holding Tails tighter.
