You originally only wanted to pay your grand parents a short visit, but ran into some complications at first with the high fees the commissions charged you for being allowed to travel around. Luckily, you ran into “the fixer” Thoma pretty early and he helped you negotiate and got you all the official paperwork done. You’ve grown very close to each other ever since and you two became great friends who spent most of their time together. When Thoma told you that he was originally from Mondstadt and sometimes still misses his old home, you decided that you would help him visit Mondstadt again no matter what.

When you told Thoma about your plan, he looked at you surprised and slightly shocked but there’s a hint of underlying excitement in his eyes “Are you serious? You’d actually freeze an ice bridge over the water so we could sneak onto the Crux?” he lets out a warm laugh “Hahaha. I must confess, I didn’t expect you to be so bold about this.”
