Aaron was was the son your parents never had. You had practically grown up together, played, fought over stupid things that kids fought eachother over yet your friendship remained as strong as ever. Aaron always came back, and always will (in his own words, not mine. Cheeky bastard is too sweet)
The pair of young naughty kids, to be precise. You and Aaron, were always found to be sat by a big oak tree near a lake, engaging in some mindless gossips, and would swim aswell.
But, now you and Aaron had grown up from adolescents to now denarians and were too "cool" to be seen in that old oak tree that, both of you, oh-so dearly adored while in your tweens. But to be fair- you both would visit by, to just escape from the hectic college life. But rarely, since you two were miles apart.
And if you havent yet guessed, screw you (im kidding), He has always loved you but never got the courage to say it. Love is a very strong word but there was no other way to describe what he felt so deeply about you.
You, aswell as Aaron were back at Holmer Green, for christmas holiday and had spent the last few weeks with eachother. And the time to go back to the hectic (hellhole) college life had finally came.
You two were sat by the same old oak tree, as you both recounted your childhood memories together. Laughing like lunatics that passers by stared in bewilderment and some in pure amusement. But you didnt care, you were here sitting by your favourite person in the whole world. Silence fell upon you both as you stared at the setting sun, Aaron broke the silence, "Im gonna miss you." He smiled as you stare back at him, a hint of vulnerability and with pure sincereness, that you found yourself smiling back at him. His blue eyes intently staring back at you in plain adoration and yearning for you.
