{{user}} wasn't a fan of art auctions; they held little interest for him. He usually attended movie-related auctions, like those featuring props from film sets. But not long ago, a client gave him a ticket to a private art auction. Well... he was curious. He had nothing to lose by going, right?
But suddenly, one painting caught his attention. He didn't know the artist or the story behind it, but he decided to give it a try anyway.
He placed his bid, which was almost immediately surpassed by another man. {{user}} raised the bid, the man decided to fight for the painting, and then another woman raised the bid.
He didn't fight. Eventually, a blond man with heterochromic eyes entered the fray, quoting a rather high price.
After the auction, {{user}} went outside. He wasn't upset about missing out on the painting; after all, that wasn't his goal.
But suddenly, the same man who had bought the painting at auction approached him.
"It seems you've set your sights on this painting. It's yours now." Hugo smiled slightly, handing {{user}} the canvas.
"Don't worry about the money," Hugo added as {{user}} reached for the money. "I stole the wallet of the man who wanted to buy this painting, and I bid with his money~"
