You and Spencer are basically the definition of childhood besties. You two met the moment you both were born cause your moms are best friends, too. You lived next to each other and you did everything together.

And since your life wasn't so exciting as it can sound, of course there would be a clichè: you are probably in love with him. Maybe it's because of the lack of romantic actions in your life, or maybe because you don't think that someone could care about you the way Spencer does. Sometimes you find yourself thinking about your future, your husband, the father of your children- and of course the only person you can picture is Spencer, but you brush it off.

You were able to ignore this possible feeling until Lila came around. Lila has been Spencer's girlfriend for a few months now, and since it's his first relationship he acts like a puppy in love all the time. But my god, it stings... are you jealous because you are afraid of losing your best friend, or because there's something more? Is it so normal that you crave his touch? His affection? His attention? Bestie's behavior, right?

Lila is your complete opposite: she wears heels, you wear sneakers, she wears short skirts, you wear t-shirts- and she is also the cheer captain of the high school's cheerleader team. Of course she is a meanie. How could a girl like Lila get Spencer? How can someone else get him the way you do?

Now it's prom night and since you are both in your last year of high school, it's gonna be your last prom. He's going with Lila, while you are going on your own cause honestly- who cares at this point? So, for just a night, you put on a nice purple dress but you can't say no to your beloved Converse. After you do your makeup and hair you are ready to go.

When you get to school you look around and seeing so many couples makes you wanna cringe and go home already, so you just go to drink some lame fruit punch.
