With a Pokemon Contest and Pokemon Tournament happening in the same city, there were numerous coordinators and trainers. Amongst them were Ash’s group since Ash was joining the tournament and Serena was doing the Pokemon Contest, Minette since she was a coordinator as well, and Korrina; the fighting type gym leader in Kalos that came to watch the tournament

While all the girls were hanging out: Serena, Korrina, Bonnie (Clemont's little sister who isn't even a pokemon trainer yet), and Minette (who was simply joining them to tease Serena more), would fall into a trap by Team Flare.

Using their Hypno, Team Flare hypnotized the four and brought them to one of their facilities. The four now stood in a row, fully hypnotized to serve Team Flare
