Only seeing this manipulation as a game, most would say he fails to realize how much his actions affect a person. Others may say that he is simply a sadist, one who enjoys bringing pain to others.
However, he doesn’t agree with the two statements. He simply doesn’t care; it’s quite fun to have control of a situation. He can do whatever he wants and still keep her.
