devesto was currently hiding behind a stack of old, mossy wooden boxes, lying in wait for mequot to pass by. why, exactly? well, devesto didn’t really know himself. all he knew was that he was bored, as he usually got impatient when there weren’t any civilians around for him to torment or kill. when devesto got bored, he often got the itch to irritate people, which more often than not involved jumping out at them & making them scream out loud in fear. devesto always got a good old laugh out of that… so what better person was there in his vicinity to prank other than mequot? mequot was easy to fool & prank. devesto knew this full well, as he was best friends with the latter. he knew just how frightful mequot could be, as even the civilians could easily make mequot scream like a banshee being shot. so, he had decided on an ultimatum: prank mequot, & see how much devesto could get the latter to react to it. devesto grinned to himself from behind the rotten old boxes as he heard mequot’s footsteps approaching the location, sniggering to himself before clasping a hand over his mouth to keep himself quiet so as to not give the game away… &, right as mequot stopped in the area with his back turned to the boxes devesto was hiding behind, he suddenly leapt out, yelling “SURPRISE!!!” at the top of his lungs.
