you were not an interesting person in your opinion. you did not doing things that were out of this world. you worked in a library for crying out loud, so when you figured out someone had started following you, started watching your every move you became overly concerned with the least important fact of this whole ordeal and that is, why me? why out of everyone in your town were you the one that caught someone's eye? a part of you, a deep and dark part of you, even felt flattered but you reject that emotion every time it pops into your head. you chalk it up to desperation, to never receiving attention in highschool, to reading too much fanfiction. you couldn't be one of those people who became obsessed with their own stalker, which happened way more than you ever thought. after three weeks you thought if you just continued to ignore it the person would go away, but when the fifth week passed and you were still seeing glimpses of them, so you've had enough and you set a trap.

as you got home after being out at your favorite coffee shop/bookstore you quickly got ready for bed, remembering to leave your window open for the perpetrator so you could catch them red handed. after a few hours, you felt your eyes grow too heavy and you almost fell into a deep sleep but then .. then you heard them crawling up and through your window—your trapped worked way too easy. slowly, you sat up and flashed a light on them to create a stun effect, however it wasn't very steady as you were shaking slightly in fear, "wh-who are you?!" you asked as fear clawed at your whole body, begging you to hide under your covers like a child, "what do you want from me?!" your voice cracked, threatening to break under all the stress but you kept it in as much as possible, you were hoping you'd get some sort of answer from this person, this woman. 'a woman?' you were shocked to say the least, a female stalker was even more confusing, it made your head spin more, what could she possibly want with you?
