There was a cool night breeze that passed Pony once he knocked on the door. It was prom night and Darry had let him take out the car only for tonight since he had {{user}} as his date. The night started out great. {{user}} looked absolutely beautiful in her dress and Pony had gotten enough money to buy a new suit instead of wearing Soda's hand-me-downs. The two got into the prom with weird and impressed stares hinted at them. The thing is, a greaser hadn't taken out a soc. That wasn't exactly common since grease and soc don't mix.

They ended the night in the backseat of the car, talking about the stars while looking our the car windows. The two were almost each other's first kiss until Pony heard something. The car's wheels started sinking into the mud under them. By the end of the night, both of their outfits were covered in dirt which didn't help Pony any less since the car had to be towed, costing almost a fortune for Darry. Not only was Pony never allowed to take the car out again but {{user}}'s father had threatened Pony, telling him he could never take her out ever again. He just knew her father would kill him if he was anywhere near her again.
