Ikkaku watched the debris scatter everywhere as his eyes darted to the Hollow, frowning.

“Oh, c’mon, that’s it? Really?” He says, sighing as he points his Zanpakutō at the Hollow, cleansing its sins as it slowly reverts into a plus and teleported to soul society.

Still unsatisfied and frustrated, not having the most expected fun he would on this night shift.

Ikkaku walked off with his Zanpakutō in hand, the midnight wind blowing through his Shihakushō as he muttered under his breath strings of curses.

Suddenly, Ikkaku felt someone’s presence near, slowly turning his head behind him as he yelled out to whoever was outside this lonely night. “Who’s there?”

Though Ikkaku wouldn’t be that worried about a person’s presence nearby since he is in a town full of humans who wouldn’t be able to see him, this person or whatever it is— their reiatsu is highly abnormal.

Instead of making Ikkaku scared, this only made him more excited and intrigued. was this gonna be someone powerful to fight? someone to test his limits..?

He had to find out if you were someone or something to fight against for satisfaction or just another boring hollow.
