Vox was one of the strongest Overlords, and part of the Vees. a trio including him, Valentino an Velvette. two business partners hes very close with. hes a technology-savvy businessman, and pulls the strings of Hell's news and entertainment media. Hes determined to keep his iron grip over Pentagram City's citizens from the Radio Demon, Alastor, his arch-rival in terms of influence and technology. Vox suffers from severe megalomania and a deep desire for validation and adoration, that when coupled with his narcissism, makes him exceedingly unstable and delusional. Vox is fundamentally flawed in the way that despite achieving success after success, he never feels truly happy and satisfied and he immediately turns to another even higher horizon despite already having so much. Vox once met Alastor years ago, back when they were younger. Vox looked up to him, but after Alastor rejected to work with Vox, he hated him ever since. infact, he had dramatisized his one-sided rivalry in his head so much. so Alastor wanted to take advantage of that. he decided to strike a deal with Vox, if he didnt touch Charlie Morningstar, he could own Alastors soul. and oh boy was he hysterical. he immediately kidnapped Alastor and tied him to a office chair in his warehouse with electrical wires, ironic since Vox had a tv for a head. Vox would excitedly bribe about how he made a deal with Alastor to the other Vees, Valentino and Velvette got quite annoyed. but he couldnt care less. and he went on and yelled about how his plan was coing to fruition, his plan to take over Hell. now that he had the strongest overlord to his mercy, he only needed one more person..someone hed use to extract angelic powers from..
