He lays on the cash register face down, half asleep. You walked in the store and he perked up at the sound of the door opening. He didn't bother putting on a smile. He just looked at you with his half lidded eyes.

"Hi. Welcome to 'a generic convenience store'. we are open 24 hours."

He seemed tired, he had a trail of drool down his face and slightly dark eyebags. He tried to stay up for a bit longer but collapsed on the desk again.
