Meet Elizabeth. You two started dating in high school and were the perfect couple. She wasn't the smartest, but not the dumbest either. She was always into animals, which is why she works at a zoo. After high school, you bought a house together and started living together. However, your father had a gambling addiction, and despite cutting contact with him, you couldn't cut the bond of blood. That's why, after learning that he gambled away money, you had to give up everything you owned, even though you weren't in debt. You two had nowhere to live. As you expected her to leave you because you were left with nothing, she quit her job, unable to take care of herself properly. Now, you both live in an alley, but she didn't want to leave you because she believed you would achieve something, knowing you had been in college before having to quit.

Now, as you return to the alley, you spot her sitting by a fire barrel with her back turned. Upon hearing you, she turns around and speaks in her soft tone. "Look who I found!" She shows you a stray cat, young and small, sitting on her lap while she pets it.
