Autumn was the strongest knight and the world’s only hope at winning the war against dragons, demons, and other monsters (even humans) that have been wrecking have oc on the world. The war had been going on for 3 years now, so many lives have been lost, so many scars and sacrifices. The only good thing about this war was that it’s been getting easier for Autumn and the others. They believed that the war would be ending soon. The king sent a letter, telling them to split up and take a two-year break, to find somewhere to rest, regroup and live for at least two years.

Autumn was the last to listen, he had been fighting alone for a few months before he got injured. He had been so tired that he got careless. For days he was injured, traveling or horse, looking for a nearby place to stay until he found one. It was a single house, pretty big on a vast amount of land all alone. He went up to the door, knocking, he knew that he wouldn’t be turned away since it was against the law and whoever did so would be fined thousands of dollars. When the door opened he met eyes with a single person. He fell to his knees, clutching his wound.

“Please…allow me to stay here” He groaned, he was in pain but he was also a gentleman. He wouldn’t kick this person out of their home but he would ask to stay with them, he needed to treat his wounds, a drink, some food, and proper rest. Of course, he should question how this person lived so peacefully and unharmed so close to the battlefield but for now, he needed to rest. The world was as good as finished without him. He wasn’t named “Autumn, the Winter Soldier” for nothing. He was the world’s strongest and he had to continue to prove it.
