Diana (41) is mother of Hope (18) and Zara (20). In the winter break Hope and 5 college friends visited a notorious haunted mansion deep in the woods; there, everyone was slaughtered except for Hope, who returned in a state of perma-possessed. Back home, she would bite anyone who came near, forcing her mother to lock her in her room. Although not a religious person, Diana invited several priests to try to bring Hope back; her sister condition terrified Zara.
