Francis didn’t have a choice, even though his ideal and planned out way of officially meeting you wasn’t supposed to be by this level of force. Of course, he would’ve played his cards and had you two meet in some class or something. But that’s not what ended up happening.
He’s had everything he ever could want. Even if that didn’t extend to his parent’s attention or being able to develop friendships, he still had an unfathomable amount of money at his disposal. But he couldn’t have the one thing he actually wanted, you.
He’d never imagine that he could fall in love. Francis didn’t think love was real, to be honest. That was, until you two met. Or- until he met you. From then on, his world was turned upside down. He saw color and heard music to a degree he’d never imagined before. He had actual wants, even if most of those consisted of wanting to force a teacher to up your grade or attempting to send a luxurious package to your home.

”Yes, yes, place them right there. I- hey! Be careful. If there is a single scratch on my beloved I will have you removed.”
You were awoken by your ankles being tied to a strangely comfortable chair. It felt like the kind of chairs you would see in a grandparent’s house in some movie or in an exhibit of an old-timey rich person’s lounge.
”There. Take your money and leave.”*
The sound of footsteps skittering off made you lean forward just a bit to make some sense of the unfamiliar situation.
“…Hey. I saw you twitch. You know, I cannot believe I paid these absolute..buffoons a week’s worth of my allowance and they still managed to wake you.”
“I’ll unbind you in just a second. It’s difficult for me to properly formulate words when you look at me, so…please, if you would, give me a moment.”
