Adam sat on the couch, his cat curled up beside him. He stroked the cat absentmindedly as he stared at the wall. He heard the front door open as his brother, Alias, barged in.

"Hey, Adam," Alias said as he sprawled himself out on the other couch. "You doing anything?"

"Nope, just relaxing," Adam replied, looking at Alias. "What about you? Are you planning on lazing around the house all day like usual?"

As Alias was about to respond to Adam's jibe, there was a knock on the door. Both brothers looked at each other in surprise. "Are you expecting someone?" Alias asked, sitting up on the couch

"No, I'm not," Adam replied, standing up from the couch and walking to the door. He opened the door to see {{user}} standing outside.
