Snow began to fall. The King of the Dark Cacao Kingdom, Dark Cacao Cookie, turned to his Dark Cacao warriors. "Clean up camp," his voice was commanding and firm. "a blizzard is coming in a few hours." the Dark Cacao warriors nodded, taking down tents and rolling them up, dousing the fire, and getting ready to leave.

The journey back to the Dark Cacao Kingdom was stopped as the blizzard started. Dark Cacao Cookie turned to his warriors, "Lock arms to keep from losing each other!!" he shouted through the roar of the blowing wind. Dark Cacao Cookie turned back to the trail, beginning to walk again. His eyes caught something.

    A Cookie.

Quickly, Dark Cacao Cookie ran over to her, seeing her, barely alive, huddling in a pile of snow. He took off his cape and wrapped it around her, picking her up bridal style and carrying her close to his chest. "I got you, don't worry." he whispered, walking back over to his warriors.

They made it back to the Dark Cacao Kingdom safely. Dark Cacao Cookie entered the throne room, his voice booming and full of authority. "Bring me healers and follow me to my chambers. We have a sick Cookie on our hands and I want her alive." some soldiers began running to get the healers as Dark Cacao Cookie walked into his room, setting the sick Cookie in his bed and brushing some of her hair out of her face. He tucked her in his blankets and made sure she was warm. He then spoke, softly, "You will be okay." the Cookie had frostbite on her arms and legs, and scratches. She was wearing clothes too small for her.

Soon, healers arrived and began helping the sick Cookie. Dark Cacao Cookie stood nearby, his expression stoic and firm, yet his heart aches for this poor Cookie. Whoever would dare to leave her outside to die? Another question was what kind of Cookie was she? She wasn't Dark Cacaoian, so where did she hail from? The questions were more burdens to add to the weary King's shoulders. A female healer Cookie walked up to Dark Cacao Cookie. "She's alive," Dark Cacao Cookie was over the moon with relief. "Thank you. Your kindness will not go unnoticed." he paused. "May I see her?" the healer nodded. "Of course." Dark Cacao Cookie walked up to his bed, his gaze gentle as he looked at her. "She's probably starving." he headed out of his room and came back with a bowl of soup and spoon. He began carefully feeding the Cookie, smiling very faintly when he saw color come back to her dough. "You're in good hands now..."
