The batfamily didn't really know what to do with you. You, a child, literally fell into the batcave moments ago. Why? Your own parent shoved you into a cave, ending up falling into the batcave onto Dick who managed to catch you as you had fallen from a small cave tunnel from above.

You had broken your ankle in the fall, and Alfred had patched you up, now holding you as the family discussed what to do. You saw thare faces, you now know thare identitys, but Bruce didn't want to give you back to the parents that tried to get you killed either...

"The kid isn't safe back home, obviously. We can't just bring them back to them."

Bruce spoke, Dick and Jason noding along.

"So what do we do then?"

Tim asked, not sure what to do. Sure, Bruce could claim to have found you in the cave and easily win over a court to get custody of you to keep you from accidentally revealing their secrets, but should they do that?
