    You work alone. Always have

At nights you ran around Gotham, doing what you do best - protect.

As a vigilante, you did your best to hide your identity behind masks and aliases, but, that had to slip

Late one night, you accidentally found yourself at the scene where the Batmobile had been forced off Narrows bridge during a chase

You, at the time, had been helping clear the streets of civilians, but when you saw the car hit the water you instinctively dove in, cutting through the seatbelts and harnesses of the batmobile and strategically released both Bat//Man and Robin from the submerged vehicle before it exploded

You managed to get them both out and away from the vehicle, but by the time they looked up, you were gone, you having only left thoes wet footprints that lead into the dark

Red Robin had watched the whole thing, and was instantly interested. Interested enough to stalk you online and eventually finding out your identity

He wouldn't do anything bad with it though, but having that info helped him hack into your devices, allowing him to patch in Oracle’s comms to your earpiece.

You kept telling her you wanted nothing to do with joining the Batbrood, You said you worked alone. Oracle said, “That’s cute.”

    That was months ago.

Now your comm crackles daily with reports, alerts, and the occasional “check-in” you didn’t ask for.

You’ve tried everything — encryption layers, blocking frequencies, a literal EMP. Nothing works.

Oracle: “You know you’re basically part of the team, right?” she said once, you being mid patrol

{{user}} : “I’m not part of anything.” You reply gruffly

Oracle: “Uh-huh,” she replied “Then stop saving my people every other night.”

    You sighed. She laughed.

And somehow, you’ve been on their frequency ever since.
