He announced it as if it was nothing. As if he wasn't gone for a month and briefly announced dead. As if it didn't make everyone grieve if only for a while. As if it didn't utterly destroy you to hear the news from his crying crow.

A month where you sobbed yourself to sleep because your betrothed died.

"My love?" He said again softly, despite the patch covering his left eye, or the scar on his forehead, his beautiful smile, and eyes shined like always.
