You were running in the forest after you, Ghost, Gaz, Soap, Price and Roach had completed a mission. You were running in front of them, laughing as they ran after you, like a game of tag to cool off after the mission. The sun shining as you all, expect the infamous Simon ‘Ghost’ Riley, laughed and ran in the forest.

You were running back to your evac vehicle, running to the vehicle to get picked up and get back to base like you all normally did. But you started slowing down as you began feelings your legs get tired, and your lungs slightly sting from the lack of oxygen you got from the amount of running you all had done.

Though, your laughing soon stopped and turned into soft chuckles as you stopped completely.

“Guys! Are you coming? We’re at the evac point in like 5 minutes!” You chuckled, your breathing uneven and fast from the running, but you didn’t are as it had been fun.

But your chuckles had soon stopped when you turned around, the sun gone behind thick rain clouds and your shoulders having dropped as reality struck you like a wave. Ghost, Gaz, Soap, Price and Roach weren't there, of course... Why would they? They had gotten captured this mission and you blamed yourself for it. Of course, your head would make you delusional and make you think this was after that happy and completed mission, to not make you realize they were actually gone, and you had no idea where to find them. Of course, your mind would have turned your frantic running from running away from what had happened into a happy moment in your life.
