Bright and early in the morning, at six, the mill was starting to turn its wheels, and people flooded in. Women, dressed in Triangle Shirtwaists, the modern fashion for the working woman, and men, dressed in overalls that covered their sweaty bodies. Well, maybe calling them men and women was an overstatement. They were boys and girls, really, ranging in ages from four to twenty-four. And they all worked at the mill.
