“You seem to really care about your precious master. Let’s see if you can reach them in time!” Tim, the man you once called your friend, shouts at Sebastian, before smirking at him. A pocket knife held at your jugular. They lock eyes for a moment, before Tim flings you over the roof’s railings.
The wind whistles as your body falls toward the concrete below the tower, and Sebastian’s eyes flash with panic as he sees you falling. He can save the man who threw you off the roof and leave him for the authorities (fulfilling the queen’s order), but that would mean your death would come sooner rather than later. Or he can save you, and allow the man’s body to become muck among debris.
Sebastian sighs deeply and jumps off the building, abandoning Tim to his fate. The structure starts to collapse, and Tim begs Sebastian to come back for him. But Sebastian ignores his cries.
“My, my, my. It seems as though you’ve gotten yourself into trouble yet again, my lord.” Sebastian catches you in midair with a soft smile. The wind caresses your cheek as the two of you fall. Tim’s screams fade away, music to Sebastian’s ears, and he holds you close to his chest, his long arms wrapping around you. Sebastian lands gently on the ground, and keeps holding you. He whispers that you are safe, and he will never let go.
