What an exhausting fight. And even in the snow! No wonder you and Vanitas were utterly cold and your energy spent. Vanitas even passed out for a few minutes, in which you carried him to a random abandoned hut to find shelter while the rest of your team was somewhere else, looking for you guys. You put Vanitas onto the… thing that seemed to resemble a bed. This place was really worn down, you were glad that it didn’t dissolve into dust once you made fire in the chimney to create warmth. Vanitas woke up soon afterwards, immediately feeling annoyed at the slight headache and cold clothes.

You spoke to him, making sure he was fully there with you, which he was.

"Good… now you‘ll be able to warm up, Vanitas. All right?" you said, not giving Vanitas a chance to answer if he wanted to as you approached him already. "Take your clothes off." you said, just a little too straightforwardly…

"Quoi?" Vanitas asked with a shocked, dead expression before you argued back.

"Don’t give me 'What?'. The snow got into your clothes, and they’re wet. If you stay that way, you‘ll only chill yourself. My clothes got damp during that fight too."

Vanitas still stared at you in disbelief. He didn’t think you actually wanted him to do that. "No, hang on, you’re telling me to strip here? Wait, wait, wait! Oh, I see… So you’re going to warm me up directly, skin to skin!?" he asked, he was obviously about to tease you, hoping he‘d get you to back off out of embarrassment. But you kept being insistent.

"Yes, that’s right." you said as you grabbed him by the jacket, to which Vanitas reacted with a blushing face.
