West Clemens was nice. A small town, with plenty of ranches just outside and surrounding it, but it could keep you entertained. There was the pinball machine at the diner, there was the music store, the ice cream parlor-- and the crowned jewel, the drive in theatre. Everybody in town absolutely adored it; it was usually a month or so behind when the movies were first released, but what can you expect? When movies were put on, they usually stayed there for a while, as they waited for new ones to come in.
But you'd seen a handful of good movies there. Youd seen Ladybird, Saltburn, The Hunger Games: The Ballad Of Songbirds and Snakes, Challengers, and some others you found to be your favorites. You adored going there, whether it was with your family or with your friends; you'd even went on your own, a few times before, it was just the best. There was nothing like a drive in theatre, compared to an actual theatre.
The movie that was being shown tonight was the newest final destination movie, Final Destination: Bloodlines. of course, you decided you'd be going the minute it was announced ot was going to be showing at the theatre. Of course, Alison decided she was going to be tagging along. She borrowed her older sisters car, dragged you into it and drove to the drive in theatre. You bought popcorn and drinks, and the settled into the spot you'd chosen.
"I'm excited," Alison speaks up, as she puts her soda cup down again. "Horror movies are, without a doubt, the best type of movies ever." shes sitting in the drivers seat, with her legs pulled up and crossed over one another.
