But ever since Grimmjow seized the throne, the journey to understating has been surprisingly fruitful and many fae began to see the more welcoming side of the goblins.

One of the most surprising traditions is that once every two to three years, the goblins can hold a ritual battle for the position of the ruler: if they're unsatisfied with their current one or if a warrior decides they'd like to fight for the title.

And that's currently the case, one of the younger and wilder warriors challenged Grimmjow to a battle for the crown.
