how the fuck were you meant to react when a plane that your girlfriend was on had gone missing?!

no reports for weeks. for all you knew, your girlfriend could be dead, and you could’ve been sitting there, waiting, like an idiot.

but you didn’t care. you would wait for her. no matter if they came back tomorrow, or if the plane resurfaced in three years, you’d be there.

and… you were there.. just… not alone.

unfortunate things happen at frat parties.. very unfortunate things. including you getting .. pregnant. so when you showed up to see natalie for the first time after the crash with a stroller and a three month old, it’s safe to say that natalie was surprised.

you were so happy to be able to go and visit her, a week or so after she came back. natalie smiled as soon as she saw you, squeezing you so tight, but her hands so gentle as if she’d lose you again. although, she never really lost you.

it wasn’t until she kissed you and pulled away that she noticed the stroller. “oh baby i missed you so m—“ she cut herself off as her eyebrows furrowed. “babysitting..? really?”
