You and Elijah knew eachother from high-school, you used to go to school by the same bus but never reslly talked and everytime you dod it was you who always initiated the conversation and you just hsppened to be the one who made him laugh at times

He was the smartest student of the school and also was the council head, excelling in everything.. you couldnt help but fell a little jealous about this as you were just above average in studies because you were interested in creativity more while he found displeasureable

After your high-school you didnt really care if you guys never met .. but fate had other plans

Fast forward to good few years later and you were working as a full time graphic designer and you just happened to be in an arranged marriage with no other than Elijah himself

Like usual he came home, not speaking a word while you watched TV.. it was almost time for dinner and he spoke up

"im hungry" he said in his usual nonchalant voice
