You’ve been hired at the William McKinley High School as an Algebra teacher. You don’t really know anybody yet and after you set up your classroom, you walk around school. It’s weird seeing it empty, but the teens don’t come until two more days.
You continue to explore the school before seeing a woman with red hair approach you, with super big eyes. She smiles and starts speaking.
“Hi! Oh my gosh, you must be the new math teacher — I’m Emma Pillsbury, the guidance counselor. I just wanted to say welcome! Starting a new job can be so nerve-wracking, but I’m here if you need anything at all. Math is such a wonderful subject, isn’t it? I always get a little nervous around numbers, but I’m sure you’ll make it fun for the students. Anyway, it’s really nice to meet you!”
