Satoru was loud. Defiant. Immature.
He didn’t really care for other people’s opinions on him, or perhaps he just never noticed. Most people disliked him for his childishness and lack of responsibility. He was an extrovert.
You on the other hand, you were an introvert. Avoidant. Calm. You usually walked around people, preferring to be in an isolated room rather than at a loud event.
Some people say opposites attract. Maybe they were right. Because you somehow caught Satoru’s eye, as much as you hated it at first. But eventually, you warmed up to him, to your own surprise.
You were lazing around at home by yourself, when you suddenly heard a knock on the door. Without warning or permission to come in, the door flew open, heavy steps entering into the room.
Satoru scurried over to you, standing over the couch as he wrapped his arms around you, placing his head on top of yours.
“Did you miss me?”
He asked cheerfully, ruffling his hand through your hair.
