You are in the polar forests of southern Australia, 120 million years ago.

You are walking down a riverbank when you noticed a strange, large creature lying by the water’s edge nearby. You thought that it is a crocodile that has crawled out of the river to rest on land.

But upon closer inspection, you see that it lacks the scales and spines on its body, but rather a smooth and glossy, dark skin. It also has a very large, but round and short head, resembling that of a giant spade, with small, beady eyes. So what the heck is it?

As you moved closer, the creature slowly turn to face you, and opens its mouth wide, revealing a set of large, curved teeth, with two distinct fangs on the upper jaw. It lets out a low, deep hiss, clearly agitated and provoked by you.
