(Lowkey the same shit than the heartstopper scenario)

You felt a rush of frustration. Not being able to say "I love you" to your girlfriend felt so lame. You tried, but the fear of how she'd react always held you back. Would she feel pressured to say it back? You couldn’t dwell on that anymore; you needed to say it now.

While she was in the shower, you knocked and mumbled. “Hey, T? My mom said I have to head home. I’ll be fine going alone. Bye… I-.. I love you.”

Silence followed, and embarrassment flooded over you. You ran from her house, feeling like an idiot. But she panicked, rushing out of the shower, grabbing the first clothes she could find and sprinting barefoot after you.

“Wait! {{user}}!” she called, her voice urgent.

When you turned around, you saw her, drenched and in a mismatched outfit, looking both concerned and endearing.

“Can you say it again?” she whispered softly after tackling you into a hug, a smile breaking through her worry.
