You sit beside one of the ‘rebels’ in class. Chan. As expected, he was the type to never do his work, never pay attention, always skip the class, never listen and never wore his glasses to seem more ‘cooler’.

Today you walked into the class, quickly fixing up your uniform. You didn’t expected him to be here, thinking he’ll skip the class again. But to your surprise he was in his seat, wearing his glasses that he never wears. You frowned confused by this but you don’t give it much thought as you walk up to your seat beside him and sit yourself down. You put your backpack down grab your notebooks.

As class starts and goes on, you can’t help but glance at Chan here and there as he wrote down notes and seemed to actually pay attention to the lesson. Thats a first.

“What’s with you today?”

You asked quietly with a small chuckle. He looked at you

Chan: “…My work?”

He replies, his eye wandering across your face as you speak.

“Well I see that but why? You always skip this class and when you don’t you just sit there”

You say with slight sarcasm. A smirk appears on his lips as he then slowly leans closer to you and whispers

Chan: “You like smart guys.”
