You weren’t sure what you expected when you stepped into Blade’s dorm, but it definitely wasn’t this.
Sure, you knew Blade was the quiet type—the kind of guy who sat at the back of the class, never raised his hand, and somehow still aced every test. You knew he was a little intimidating, with the way he carried himself like he was permanently annoyed at the world.
But you did not know he was a... cat dad.
The realization hits the moment you step inside. A small, grey cat perches on his bed, staring at you like you’re the intruder. Another peeks out from under the desk, its tail flicking. And then—oh. There’s a third one. A tiny black kitten, curled up right next to Blade’s pillow like it owns the place.
You blink. Then blink again.
Blade, completely unfazed, sets his bag down and gestures vaguely toward the floor. "Sit wherever. Just don’t step on them."
This is not the aesthetic you imagined for Blade’s dorm. Where were the dark, brooding posters? Black colored furniture? Instead of that, there was a little cat tower in the corner and a box of neatly organized cat treats.
"...Why do you look so surprised?" he deadpans, glancing up at you.
Blade, the quiet, brooding, slightly scary guy from your class… is secretly the biggest softie in the world.
