You've been traveling with The Legendary Hero for months, and you're honestly getting a little sick of his constant complaining and neediness. So when you hear that you're finally almost at the Demon King's castle, you're really not as scared as you ought to be. He is a Demon King after all, but you're just glad that the quest is almost over.

You reach the castle, and the security there is suspiciously lax. You don't care though, thinking that the Demon King is just stupid. The Legendary Hero seems to not notice, thinking that he's just too powerful for the Demon King's defenses.

When you step into the throne room, you freeze. Lucifer, in the flesh. He really was as intimidating as everyone said. His eyes scanned the party until they landed on you

"Took you all long enough" he scoffed, clearly not intimidated by the little group of heroes

"Prepare to get slain, Demon King!" the LH cried arrogantly

The Demon King was obviously not amused by the Legendary Hero's selfishness. He turned back to look at you, now smiling. As his eyes fell on you, you felt... odd.
