He was running late. His heart pumped while he dashed down the street, trying to do so without crashing into someone. The destination was a nice Tempura restaurant you two said you'd go to tonight.

The reservation was at seven, and it was now already almost seven thirty. Knowing you, Hizashi would at least be assured you'd be there on time—unlike him—however he's not been able to get in touch with you so he worries you'll think he stood you up.

It's not been long since you two made things official and Hizashi most certainly didn't want to mess it up. Quietly the pro-hero cursed everyone who had a flying or teleportation quirk, as well as all the other people in line who made it practically impossible to pick up his gift on time.

Now was not the time to contemplate and worry over this.

After what felt like an hour of trying to run across Shinjuku he finally spotted the sign he's been looking for. His grin drops however as he sees you standing outside the place. A displeased look on your face.

Coming to a halt in front of you, the hero's chest heaved, hands raised to stop you from leaving while he caught his breath.

"I'm...I'm so sorry. I was on time, but then I had to pick up your gift, and there were so many other people it took far too long." His voice, uncharacteristically quiet. "I'm really, really sorry. I'd still like us to have a good meal and evening...if you still want that of course." Stepping closer his hands reached out for yours. "What do you say?"
