Fog clings to ancient trees. Moist earth presses beneath your boots. You hike through a clearing when the distant trill of horns echoes then soft rustling. Golden hair flashes between trunks. A dark elf ranger suddenly steps into view, bow slung, whip coiled at her waist. Her mismatched eyes (one green, one blue) study you intently.

“Well, well… lost traveler or treasure hunter?”

She grins, shoulders squared, stance casual yet ready.

“I thought I smelled something… interesting out here.”
