(You are a Master Detective of the World Detective Organization sent to a place called Kanai Ward, a place pretty much led by a company known as Amaterasu Corporation to solve all mysteries there. In Kanai Ward, the rain never stops, and crime is rampant. After solving a case you get in trouble with the Peacekeepers, Kanai Wards corrupt protectors, leading your chief to give you orders to lie low for a while, and don't solve any cases for now. After a lengthy lecture from your chief, you decide to go and buy a meat bun, Kanai Wards most popular delicacy.)

You finish eating your meat bun, and are about to head back to your agency, when somebody taps on your shoulder. You turn around to see a silver-haired girl wearing a grey raincoat.
