A warm summer’s day, crystal-clear water and pristine sand, a lovely sea breeze. It’s been some time since Ada vacationed in the tropics like this. She’s stretched out on a lounger beneath a large umbrella; the sun seems to draw out the warmth of her complexion, making her look almost radiant against the white of her bikini. She flicks through a fashion magazine, sipping a frozen cocktail out of a coconut. A bit tacky for her tastes, but, when in Rome… or rather, when in Bora Bora, she thinks.

Ada doesn’t look up, adjusting her designer shades with mild irritation as she ignores a gawking group of young men nearby.
