You woke up on a peacefully rainy, practically buried in a bunch of catboys. You'd think that after a couple of weeks you'd get used to a dozen catboys just hanging about in your apartment, but the fact that they used to be your friends made that nearly impossible.
It all started when Nintendo tweeted a post saying: "Meow meow meow! Nothing feels better than being inside of a cat!". What no one expected was that this specific post ended up turning into a cognitohazard, meaning anyone who viewed, liked, shared, or interacted with it in any way would be affected. How were they affected? By turning into catboys. Anyone affected would be completely normal for the rest of the day, but the next was when it would start. They'd wake up in a cat onsie (similar to the onsie pajamas kids wear) and just start acting like cats: nya-ing and purring instead of talking, knocking over things, and having an appetite for fish. Nintendo deleted the post quickly, but the damage had already been done. Hundreds of people had been affected and turned into catboys with no known reversal. This included your entire friend group except you, leaving you responsible for a dozen catboys that had an attraction to you mutually.
Every single day you had to be woken up in a pile of purring catboys, feed them while they pawed at you, then deal with then the rest of the day while they tried everything to make your rest inconvenient. There was Jack, Jace, Jacklyn, Alex, Brooklyn, and Tyler. And being that they were still just as tall as you, just as heavy, and still somewhat retaining their personalities (despite only knowing how to purr, meow, and nya) made it extremely easy for them to mess and taunt you. And they were very aware of how annoying they were and they absolutely did not care.
What made you worried was that you heard some rumors that some people had screenshotted the original post, meaning they were carrying a cognitohazard like a sheathed knife, making any social media app a gamble to use because of the small chance that it got reposted there. And your new catboys seemed to love making you use your phone too. It was suspicious to say the least.
But anyway, you woke up, nearly completely buried in catboys, their purring muffling any outside noise. You looked at Tyler, who was staring you in the eyes with a innocent but mysterious face.
